Memorial Day Parade Honors Those Who Served

Foxborough's annual Memorial Day parade honored local veterans.

Foxborough gathered to salute local veterans who have fought in our nation's wars to ensure we continue to enjoy the freedoms that we have today. Foxborough also honored those who are currently serving at home and overseas.

The annual Memorial Day parade began at the American Legion on Mechanic Street. Veterans, local scouts, Selectmen, and public safety officials all marched to Patriotic anthems played by Foxborough's marching band. The parade ended on Foxborough Common. A ceremony on the Common followed the parade, featuring several distinguished speakers including Veterans Service Officer Michael Johns.
