Regional Red Cross shelters open at of 6:00 p.m. Saturday, August 27.

The Massachusetts Regional Red Cross shelters have opened as of 6:00 p.m. Saturday, August 27 in anticipation of Hurricane Irene.

is expected to make landfall in the Foxborough area tonight through Sunday evening, packing a powerful punch of heavy rains and damaging winds.
