March 28: National Weather Service Issues Fire Warning

Red Flag Warning is in effect until 7 p.m. this evening.

The National Weather Service has issued a red flag warning until 7 p.m. tonight, March 28.

The warning has been issued for most of Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Northern Connecticut.

A red flag warning signals "fire weather conditions" that already have or will occur. According to the National Weather Service,  "a combination of strong winds, low humidity and warm temperatures create a heightened chance of fire."
