Richard “Dick” Francis Fein Sr.

Richard Fein, Sr. 79, of North Attleboro, formerly of Foxborough, died July 12, 2013. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and earned the rank of staff sergeant while serving from 1953 – 1957 during the Korean War. He moved to the Village of Attleboro Falls in 2005 having previously resided in Foxborough for 40 years. While residing in Foxboro, Mr. Fein was a communicant of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church. Alice Marie (Dwyer) Grandy

Alice Grandy, 68, of Easton, died July 15, 2013. Alice was employed by the Town of Easton and worked in the cafeteria at the Parkview Elementary School. Later, she worked as a baker for Shaw's Supermarket in Easton for 10 years.

Past President of the Easton Little League, she was a longtime member of the Oliver Ames High School Hockey Booster Club. She was an avid bingo player. For the complete obituary click here.

Roger LeClerc

Roger L. LeClerc, 71, of Norton, died July 7, 2013. Prior to retiring, Mr. LeClerc had been employed for several years in various capacities at the Raynham/Taunton Dog Track. He had formerly worked for 25 years for the John Hancock Life Insurance Co. and at the same time also at the former Foxboro Raceway. When younger, one of Roger’s first jobs was at the former First National Grocery Store. For the complete obituary click here.


Pauline A. Solmonese

Pauline Solmonese, 75, of Attleboro, died July 14, 2013. Mr. and Mrs. Solmonese were teachers in the Norton Public Schools. They met while teaching at Norton High School in 1959. Joseph Solmonese went onto become principal of Norton High School and the Joseph C. Solmonese Elementary School in Norton is named after him. Pauline worked as a teacher in the Norton Public Schools for more than 20 years, retiring in 2001. After retiring, she enjoyed serving as a volunteer at the Norton Public Library.
