Lt. Governor Timothy Murray Visits With QuickHit in Foxborough

The Lt. Gov. meets with town officials; Applauds Chestnut Green.

"A [proposed] tax break will encourage the video game industry and would bring more jobs to Massachusetts" was the sounding theme from Massachusetts Lieutenant Governor, Timothy Murray, yesterday in Foxborough.

Murray travelled to Foxborough's Chestnut Green to meet with Kyle Anderson founder of the fast growing on-line game QuickHit. QuickHit is a free-to-play on-line football game where you coach and manage your own NFL team.

Murray spoke on budget tightening and in particular, the possibility of extending a movie-making tax credit to video games companies for the future.

The lieutenant governor also toured the Chestnut Green development with Vince O'Neill, Founder and President of VinCo Properties, Inc. Murray stated that the Chestnut Green is a wonderful example of a successful development template - renovating the former Foxboro State Hospital into a residential, retail and business complex.
