Third annual Joe Andruzzi and Friends Golf Tournament will take place on Monday, May 23.

The third annual Joe Andruzzi and Friends Golf Tournament will take place on Monday, May 23 at the TPC Boston Golf course in Norton.

A number of past and present New England Patriots are participating in this year's tournament including former Patriot players Christian Fauria, Pete Brock, Matt Chatham, Jermaine Wiggins, Jim Bowman, Harold Shaw and Jon Williams and current Patriot players Tully Banta-Cain, Sebastian Vollmer, Jermaine Cunningham, Rob Gronkowski, Logan Mankins, Dan Koppen and Rob Ninkovich.

For Andruzzi, cancer is a personal and global issue. In 2007, Andruzzi was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s Burkitt’s lymphoma. Andruzzi, who remains cured today, founded the Joe Andruzzi Foundation to raise funds that help cancer patients and their families with utility payments.

Dinner and live auction will be held after golf. A silent auction featuring football memorabilia and other items can be found online here.

A shotgun start is scheduled for 1 p.m. A reception is scheduled at 5:30pm followed by dinner at 6:30pm.
