Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for aligning the Human Resource initiatives with business needs for the assigned business units and business partners. This position provides support, counsel and training to ensure on-going objectives are met.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with business partners and central Human Resources on organizational Human Resource strategies including development of goals, scorecards, profit improvement plans, talent assessment and professional development
  • Administer and support all employment practices and policies in compliance with federal, state and local law including, but not limited to record keeping, background checks, immigration, EEOC and OSHA reporting
  • Maintain all aspects of the HRIS system including compliance with all necessary documentation
  • Responsible for creation, maintenance and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by confidentiality and privacy standards, in accordance with company policies
  • Manage employment initiatives including recruitment strategy, development of job descriptions, classification of positions, and maintenance of organizational charts, as well as compensation planning, preparing various postings/advertisements, interviews, employee selection assistance, offer letters and new hire paperwork
  • Coordinate and facilitate training initiatives including new hire orientation, safety and professional development
  • Administer and service benefit plans including enrollment, issue resolution, employment verification, unemployment claims/hearings, leave of absence requests, termination/COBRA and workers’ compensation programs with Benefits office
  • Employee relations issues including performance evaluations
  • Advise on all employee relations issues including investigation of complaints, disciplinary action and terminations
  • Collaborate with corporate Human Resource office regarding disciplinary actions and terminations and conduct exit interviews, as applicable
  • Conduct Quarterly employee meetings
  • Special projects and assignments as business dictate

  • Knowledge of state and federal laws, rules and regulations pertaining to labor, benefits and compensation
  • Organized, detailed and results-oriented
  • Confidentiality and discretion
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Bachelors Degree preferred

Customer Service Associate at Cumberland Farms

Description:

  • Interacting with customers to provide information and assistance in response to inquiries about products and services.
  • Maintaining a clean, customer friendly store environment.
  • Performing regular cleaning activities including, but not limited to, cleaning floors, glass doors, counter surfaces, and restrooms, emptying all interior and exterior trashcans, rotating and straightening merchandise and cleaning beverage and foodservice equipment.

Requirements:

Bag Machine Operator at the Alpha Group

A manufacturing company located in Foxboro is looking to hire a Bag Machine Operator for 2nd Shift.  Machine Operator is responsible for picking and packing parts according to customer requirements, label cases and other duties as assigned.

This position is full time, temporary to permanent and pays $13 - $15/hour. Working 2nd Shift, Monday through Friday 3:15pm - 10:45PM

Responsibilities:

  • Examine completed work to detect levels and quality for production parts
  • Put together boxes
  • Pick parts and pack according to customer requirements
  • Remove and weigh scrap
  • Properly label cases
  • Maintain and install attachments to machines for gluing, folding, printing and ink levels
  • Preventative maintenance as necessary
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Previous machine operating experience is preferred
  • Must have experience working with bag machines or paper forming machines
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret, then communicate others, job cards and work instructions and applies practices accordingly.
  • Ability to wire routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations including counting out products for packaging
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Understand and correctly complete Quality paperwork, IE start up checklists and etc.
  • Understand inspection levels and quality requirements for production parts
  • Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with appropriate
