Hurricane Irene Forces Sunday Cancellations In Foxborough

Sunday cancellations in Foxborough have begun as makes its way to the Boston area.

• Hockomock Area YMCA branches will be closed on Sunday August 28.
• The Massachusetts Audubon Society's will be closed. It will reopen Monday.
• All Fields in Foxborough are closed until further notice.
• The Foxborough town pool is closed until further notice.
• Church of Emmanuel - No service, Sunday, August 28. 
• Union Church of South Foxboro - This week's worship service will held Saturday at 5:00pm, August 27th.
• At St. Mary's Church, The Archidocese of Boston is letting people out of Mass obligation because of safety concerns. According to their presss release, "to comply with local and state officials and emergency personnel regarding any restrictions."
• The MBTA will suspend all modes of service on Sunday, past 8:00 a.m.
• Brockton Area Transit (BAT) service suspended on Sunday.
• All businesses at Patriot Place will be closed all day Sunday August 27th.
