Hundreds of Kraft Employees Stand as 'One Boston' on Gillette Stadium Turf for Marathon Victims

Employees of the New England Patriots, New England Revolution and other Kraft Group entities stood on the Gillette Stadium turf and spelled out "1 Boston" following Monday's moment of silence at 2:50 p.m. for the victims of last week's tragedy.

BOSTON, MA -- As communities paused Monday for a moment of silence to remember the victims of last week’s attacks on the Boston Marathon, roughly 300 Kraft employees gathered on the turf of Gillette Stadium to collectively observe the solemn occasion.

Following the one minute of silence at 2:50 p.m., the hundreds of employees spelled out “1 Boston” to show support to everyone affected by last week’s tragedy.

“Since we knew we would have a large group of staff gathered, we decided to take some time after the moment of silence to make a statement of support and solidarity with everyone affected by the tragedy a week ago and the events since,” said Kraft Group spokesman Jeff Cournoyer.
