Great Escape: Art Show at the Hunakai Studio of Fine Arts

Each week, Patch throws out one great idea to give you a much deserved break, and make your life a little easier, maybe a whole lot easier!

There are two great art shows happening in Foxborough this weekend, March 26.

Hunakai Studio of Fine Arts. The opening reception for the All Pastels Show featuring students and teachers of Hunakai Studio of Fine Arts is Saturday, March 26, from 7:00 - 9:00pm.

Many beautiful and affordable pieces will be displayed in their studio. Stop by the studio and unwind from the week! These wonderful pieces of work reflect hard-work and passion from their artists. Refreshments will be provided.

  The Friends will hold an auction fundraiser entitled "Bid From The Heart", Saturday March 26, at the Foxboro Country Club from 7:00-10:00pm.  Proceeds from this unique event will be used to help furnish the children's section of the Library.

This event will feature a live auction of more than 40 works of art by members of the Foxboro Art Association as well as other nationally recognized artists.  These works are available for preview in the Boyden Library Fuller Room.

Entertainment will be provided by 5 O'clock Flat, an award winning jazz band from Foxboro High School. Participants will also enjoy a cash bar and appetizers.    

Tickets are limited and will be sold at the Library for $25.00 per person, on a first-come first-served basis. If you cannot attend, contributions are always welcome with 100% of all proceeds of the event going to the Children's Library.
