Spring Fishing Classic

Where/When: Feb. 26 at Bass Bro Shop.

Why Go: Bassmaster University is this Saturday! There will be seminars by national professional anglers as well as seminars and workshops given by local pros on everything from introduction to fishing to saltwater kayak fishing.

Where/When: Friday night, Feb. 25 at 8:00 p.m.

Why Go: Tramps Like Us will be re-creating Bruce Springsteen's single longest concert of this career that was over 4 hours long! It was Springsteen's New Year's Eve 1980-81 concert from Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale NY, from The River Tour.

Price: $19, VIP $45

Where/When: Hunakai Studio of Fine Arts. 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Who Go: In celebration of the Hunakai Studio of Fine Arts exhibit, "We've Lost Our Marbles", a reception will be held. The exhibit will feature the work of artists of all ages who have created imaginative works based on the theme of "marbles." The reception will include, Marble Cake, refreshments and games.

"The Fighter"

Where/When: Thursday-Sunday, 12:40,  3:40,  6:50,  9:35 pm,  12:10 am.

Why Go: The Oscars are this Sunday. Catch the nominated film "The Fighter" before watching the biggest night in Hollywood unfold.

Price: Adult $11


Where/When: Friday Feb. 25 at Christina's in Foxborough, 7:00 p.m. 

Why Go: Come out for a good cause. A fundraiser at Christina's in Foxboro is planned to help 1 1/2 year-old Joey Griffith. Joey has been diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer and is currently undergoing constant treatment at Children's Hospital and the Dana-Farber Cancer Center.

Price: $25 ticket goes to the cause.
