We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check out our picks for the activities to hit and new events to explore. We'll feature events from Foxborough and things to do within driving distance.

1. Foxborough Boys Varsity Football vs. Falmouth

Where/When: Friday night lights! Cheer on the Warriors at home this Friday, 7:00pm.

Where/When: Rock the Plaza at Patriot Place presents "We The Kings" on the RPT Stage Friday night. Weather permitting, this free concert will begin at 7:00 p.m.

When/Where: Warrior Run to Benefit Homes for Our Troops, Building Specially Adapted Homes for Our Disabled Soldiers, Saturday, Sept. 17, Rodman Mobil 1 Lube Express Lot, Registration from 9 AM to 10:30 AM. This Scenic motorcycle ride leaves from Mobil 1 Lube Express parking lot and ends at Fusion 5 Sports Bar at Noon with a huge cookout and rockin' music.

Where/When: Beginning at 6pm on Sept. 16, a three-person honor guard will be presiding over a ‘Remembrance Table’ on the Common for 24 hours.  The table will consist of items symbolizing various things that soldiers who are not returning home this year will miss. Items, such as an inverted drinking class, symbolizes the soldiers inability to toast with their families. The service will conclude at 5:00pm Sept. 17 with the presenting of an American Flag to a prominent Foxborough citizen.

Where/When: Registration begins at 9:00am, Sunday Sept. 18. The race route is a flat course through Foxboro, which makes it perfect for all fitness levels. There will be both a running and walking division, awarding the top male and female winners from each age group. There will be family activities from 9am-12pm featuring Radio Disney which will include a kids fun run for crawlers to 9 years old, inflatable obstacle course, free refreshments, and music.

7. Patriots vs. San Diego Chargers at Gillette Stadium

Where/When: The New England Patriots will play their home opener at Gillette Stadium Sunday at 4:15pm. Looking to catch the game action up close? Head to Patriot Place!

Where/When: Drew Bledsoe and Jon Morris are the Patriots 2011 Hall of Fame inductees. Both will be honored in a ceremony outside The Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17.
