Foxborough's Town Manager Reacts to Bin Laden's Death ‎

Foxborough's Town Manager Kevin Paicos completed a yearlong tour in Afghanistan in 2008.

"I hope that all nations will continue to condemn terrorism as an attack on all civilized people and that we will continue to work together to destroy terrorism in all its forms," said Kevin Paicos, Foxborough's Town Manager expressing his reaction to the news of

Paicos, who completed a yearlong military tour in Afghanistan that ended in July of 2008, knows a thing or two about our in Afghanistan.

Paicos saw significant action during his tour.

"Combat gives you a lot of perspective - once you are in a life and death situation on a consistent basis, it really allows you to see what is challenging and what isn’t," said Paicos.

"I am grateful to the men and women of our military and intelligence community who have persevered to give the American people and the world justice for the atrocities of 9/11," said Paicos. "Their commitment and bravery are an inspiration to every American [and] in the midst of today’s news and the sense of satisfaction it brings, we should reflect for a moment on the lives lost on 9-11 and of the servicemen and women who have died since…and on the family’s who have lost their love."

Paicos is humbled by the sacrifice of America's servicemen and women and prays for their safe return home to their families and to the day when they can enjoy the blessings of their safe and Democratic homeland – the blessing they provide for us every day.
