According to Cunniff and Harding, Foxborough makes an for an excellent town to host a dog park for reasons including:

  • The users of the old dog park miss it, especially the seniors
  • Adding recreational options adds to property values
  • Cleaning up an underutilized piece of property and get people using it
  • Tired dogs are happy dogs and they leave the park tired
  • Dogs learn social skills from other dogs - makes them better companions
  • People have no where to go and socialize with their dogs off leash
  • It keeps dogs off our ball fields and other recreational facilities where they dont' belong
  • There is already a core group of people ready to step up and volunteer to help our park be a success
  • Foxborough has over 2200 licensed dogs in town with no where for them to go.
