Foxborough Founders Day: Schedule of Events‎

The official schedule of the 2011 Founders Day.

This Saturday, June 11, the community of Foxborough will gather to celebrate Founders Day. This year's Founders Day theme is "Salute the Troops."

Founders Day is a wonderful celebration of civic pride and a chance for the community to come together for a day of fun, food and service.

Founders Day kicks off at 7:00am with a pancake breakfast at the American Legion Hall on Mechanic Street. Tickets for the breakfast will be available at the door.

8:00 to 9:30 a.m - The parade will assemble at 132 Central St.

10:00 a.m. - The parade kicks off at 132 Central St., toward Common, to Mechanic St., Railroad Ave., Bird St. around the Common to South St., ending at the Booth Playground.

11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. - FHS multi-class reunion at the reunion tent, activities at Booth Playground, food, games, raffles, crafts, other activities on the field and the Foxborough Fire Department presents 'Touch a Truck.' 

12:00 to 4:00 p.m. - Live Music by Frayed Knot

12:30 to 1:00 p.m. - Registration for Doll Carriage Parade. If inclement weather should occur the Doll Carriage Parade will be moved indoors to the American Legion Hall on Mechanic St.

1:00 p.m. - Doll Carriage Parade in the Hyland Rink

1:30 to 2:30 p.m. - Foxborough Fire Department Vehicle Extraction and House Fire Demonstration

6:00 to 8:30 p.m. - "A Taste of Foxborough" sponsored by the restaurants of Patriot Place. All proceeds will be donated to support the Foxborough Founders Day Committee.

7:00 to 8:00 p.m. - Henry the Juggler

7:00 to 9:00 p.m. - Live Music - The US Navy Dixieland Show Band and the Galley Dawgs

8:00 to 8:15 p.m. - Raffle Drawings to winners will be announced

9:00 to 9:30 p.m. - Fireworks will start!
