Foxborough Army Vet Attends Obama Event in Hampton, Has Lunch With The President

U.S Army veteran Brian Sullivan from Foxborough had lunch with President Obama Wednesday.

U.S Army veteran Brian Sullivan from Foxboro had lunch with the President of the United States Wednesday in Hampton, Virginia, CBS Boston reports. 

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama were in Hampton Wednesday to discuss the President's jobs bill at an event at Joint Base Langley-Eustis. 

Sullivan, who works as a manager for defense contractor BAE Systems, was one of four vets who met with the Obama's and attended the jobs bill event. After the event, he enjoyed lunch with the President at Anna’s Pizza and Italian Kitchen in Hampton.

According to the Boston Herald, Sullivan received a call from the nonprofit Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of Americas, asking him to participate in the table discussions with senior White House staffers.

Sullivan discussed his company’s veterans program and experiences with the VA’s health-care system with the President over an "everything" pizza.
