Foxboro Rotary Club Scholarship Information

The Foxboro Rotary Club is still seeking applicants for their 2011 Scholarship program.

The Rotary Club scholarship program is designed to help motive Foxboro residents improve their well being through directed post secondary education study. Any resident demonstrating the ideals of Rotary with financial need is eligible for a Rotary Scholarship Grant for any approved course of study.

Scholarship Grant requirements:

• Current Foxboro resident (or family residence if applicant is at boarding school)
• Demonstrated expressed financial need
• Demonstrated commitment to community service and high ethical behavior

Approved Course of Study includes (but is not limited to):

• Two and Four year college
• Graduate school and University
• Post High School Vocational programs
• Approval of non-traditional course of study is at the discretion of the Scholarship committee

Applicants are required to submit an explanation of their intent and desire for a special grant. Attention should be paid to describing motivation, expectations, and need. In most cases this grant will not cover the total cost of an educational program.

The applicant should also be prepared to provide some indication as to how they expect to fully meet the educational requirements of the desired program.
