Discover the Orpheum Theatre in Foxborough

The history of the Orpheum Theatre dates back to 1926.

The arts are alive and well in Foxborough. New York City theatre lights shine bright in Foxboro inside the Orpheum Theatre. The theatre, which hosts a variety of plays, musicals, dance, comedy shows and more throughout the year, is rich in history and talent, making it Foxborough Patch's 'hidden gem' pick.

The Orpheum Theatre was originally built in 1926 as a silent movie house. The Foxborough Regional Center for the Performing Arts, Inc. (FRCPA) was established in 1993 and purchased the building with the purpose of renovating and operating it as a functional live performance theatre. The theatre re-opened in 1994 and was home to several local community arts organizations.

The new design of theatre allows for the flexibility of all forms of art.
