According to the Boston Globe, The Red Sox are one of just 12, out of the 30 teams in baseball that are still providing beer to their players.

The Yankees, Cardinals, currently competing in the World Series, and the Dodgers are a few of the 18 clubs that prohibit beer in the clubhouse or on the road.

With the Red Sox's season ending in jarring fashion, becoming the first team in history to fail to make the in September, many Sox fans are left wondering where it all went wrong.

Former Red Sox manager Terry Francona said earlier this month that he supported the team's beer policy.
