bin Laden's Death Increases American Patriotism, Military Recruitment

The news of bin Laden's termination by U.S military special forces has generated an increase in American patriotism and spirit. Our flags are out in force, proving that America will never be beaten. It was a ten year hunt for this cruelest of terrorists and America never once gave up.

This patriotic fever has again started to burn and the American spirit has risen. This raises the question of whether there will be another spike in military recruitment, such as that caused by the September 11 tragedy.

SSgt Torres F.E, US Marine Representative from the Recruiting Station in Foxborough, said it is unclear whether the news of bin Laden's death will cause an increase in military recruitment.

Torres went onto note that, "while it is too early to see whether the recent operation in which Osama bin Laden was killed will have any effect on recruiting, we are confident that young men and women will continue to answer the call to serve in the United States Marine Corps."
