1. Expect a Sunny Monday with a High Near 62

Today’s weather in Foxborough, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for sunny, with a high near 62. West wind 10 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Monday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 35. Northwest wind 3 to 7 mph.

2. Join Supercuts for Celeste-A-Thon

On Monday, Supercuts in Foxborough is joining 200 salons and spas in the Boston/Greater New England area to raise money for hairstylist Celeste Corcoran and her daughter, Sydney, two survivors of the Boston Marathon bombings. 

During the one-day event, Supercuts is donating a percentage of proceeds from all salon services to help cover Celeste's and Sydney's medical needs.

On April 15, Celeste Corcoran, a Boston-area hairstylist at EMERGE Spa & Salon for more than 13 years, and her daughter, Sydney, were severely injured in the Boston Marathon bombings. In response to the tragedy, Boston and New England area stylists at local salons and spas have joined together to organize the Boston Strong Celeste-A-Thon to support one of their own and raise money for Celeste’s and Sydney’s medical needs.

On Monday, participating Supercuts are offering a percentage of proceeds from sales from all salon services to the Celeste and Sydney Recovery Fund. For additional donations, mail a check to Enterprise Bank, Celeste & Sydney Fund, 1120 Main St., Tewksbury, MA 01876; or donate to the Celeste and Sydney Recovery Fund online at GoFundMe.com.  

3. Man Injured in Weekend Accident on Cocasset Street

A man driving a pickup truck on Cocasset Street was injured Saturday night after his vehicle crashed into a stonewall, according to The Sun Chronicle.  

Police responded to a call of a truck on its side with an unconscious occupant just after 7 p.m. According to the Chronicle, the man, believed to be in his mid-30s, was semi-conscious after firefighters extricated him from his vehicle and transported him to Boston Medical Center to be treated for what was believed to be chest injuries.

5. Downed Tree Limb Causes Power Outage in Foxborough Sunday

Many in the area were without power Sunday evening after a tree limb fell on wires at the intersection of Baker Street and Glenwood Avenue, according to Foxborough police. Areas affected by outage included downtown Foxborough, Main Street, Lakeview Road, Cross Street and part of Wrentham, according to police.

National Grid was notified and removed the limb. Power was fully restored before 8 p.m. Sunday.
