4. Help Relay for Life “Can” Cancer

On the evening of June 21 the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life will be lit by hundreds of luminaria to remember, honor and support friends and family touched by cancer.  This year in order to help local families in need the luminaria will be weighed down with canned goods which will be donated to local food pantries on June 22.

During vacation, when children are home from school, food pantries are strained to help families in need. Your help at this time will be doubly meaningful.

Please drop off your small cans or plastic jars of soup, fish, vegetables, tomatoes, baked beans, peanut butter, etc. at Stop and Shop, Foxboro; Shaw's Sharon: St. Mark's 116 South St  Foxboro, MA ( Next to the High School) Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., or at the Dents on 15 Atherton Road in Foxboro on the porch, anytime. Make sure cans and plastic jars are no larger than 15 ounces with an expiration date later than 9/1/2013.
