5. H.U.G.S. Foxboro Letter of Appreciation
H.U.G.S. Foxboro would like to send out a huge thank you to everyone who participated in, organized, and worked behind the scenes in preparation for the successful public education panel discussion that was held at the Ahern Middle School last month.
The "Sexual Violence: Prevention at Every Age and Stage" was a collaborative effort and could not have been possible without the invaluable input from many individuals who prepared and worked very diligently to bring this sensitive subject to the forefront for public discussion.
I hope this is the first of many public forums that HUGS can sponsor within the community in raising awareness of domestic and sexual violence.
I want to personally acknowledge the following individuals: Foxboro Police Chief Edward O'Leary, Amy Muldowney, Foxboro Public Schools, Meghan Witherell, New Hope, Inc., Susan Scarnecchia, New Hope, Inc., Jennifer Rowe, Norfolk County District Attorney's Office, Tara Lemieux, HESSCO Elder Services Adult Protective Services, Susan Abrams, Principal Ahern Middle School, Christine Igo Freeman, Foxboro Reporter, Mike Webber, Rick Plasmati, Paul Godin, Mike Everson, & Michelle Gustafson, Foxboro Cable Access, Cindy Peterson and Jessica Tancrell, Brigham & Women's Mass General Health Care Center, Vicki Lowe, Foxboro Human Services & Council on Aging and Ruth Karacek, Mass Department of Public Health.
With sincere gratitude and many thanks,
Maura Schaeffer Jobin, HUGS Foxboro, President
