MOMS Club of Foxboro: Supporting the Troops

Learn about the MOMS Club of Foxboro's most recent service project!

The MOMS Club of Foxboro recently completed a service project to benefit the Massachusetts Troop Welfare Council (www.troopwelfare.org). This organization provides support for deployed soldiers as well as relief for families of service members who are away. The MOMS Club took a field trip to the Target in Plainville in order to purchase needed items for the troops. The children then created cards and coloring pages to send to the troops overseas. It was a great way to teach the kids about our service men and women who protect us and show our support of the troops!

The MOMS Club of Foxboro (Moms Offering Moms Support) is a local chapter of a national non-profit organization offering stay at home (or part time working) mothers the opportunity to meet new people and participate in a variety of activities. If you are interested in learning more about the club or joining, please feel free to contact me directly or visit our website at www.foxboromom.com.
