Foxboro business donates to local food banks

John and Debra Barry, owners of the Edible Arrangements® fresh fruit bouquet franchise in Foxboro decided to become small business owners after a series of company shutdowns and downsizings left them desiring stability, both financial and emotional. They have faced many obstacles, yet their entrepreneurial determination along with their commitment to community involvement and superior customer service has helped them achieve the stability they yearned for.

This year, John and Debra are starting a community service project that empowers their employees to give back to the community. Starting the week before Thanksgiving and lasting through Christmas, every staff member from the Foxboro Edible Arrangements® will donate and deliver fruit to a food bank of their choosing. John and Debra are committed to the communities they serve and are passionate about using Edible Arrangements® as a platform to give back to those communities that support their store.

The store has flourished because John and Debra make sure that it has a presence at every Foxboro festival, fair, food tasting, parade and other community events. This level of community involvement allows employees to interact face-to-face with potential guests and build a relationship with clientele.
