Walpole Restaurant Changes Name to Support Patriots

The Raven's Nest in Walpole will be known as The Patriot's Nest this week in advance of Sunday's AFC Championship Game between the Pats and the Baltimore Ravens at Gillette Stadium.

For the second consecutive January, a Walpole restaurant is changing its name to suppor the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game.

The Raven's Nest, located at 998 Main St. in Walpole, temprorarily changed its name last January when the Patriots hosted the Baltimore Ravens in the 2011-12 AFC Championship Game at Gillette Stadium - a game the Pats won, 23-20 to advance to Super Bowl XLVI.

And with the Ravens returning to Foxborough Sunday for a second consecutive AFC Championship showdown with the Patriots, local restaurant owners Mark and Maura McAuliffe will again alter their establishment's name.

The Walpole eatery will be offering up Trays to Go for the big game, which include chicken wings, potato skins, shepherd's pie, Italian meatballs and more.

Their restaurant in Waltham, The Mad Raven, has also changed its name to "The Mad Patriot" for the week.
