WATCH: Tom Brady 'Arrested' in RI for Giving Candy to Child in YouTube Spoof

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady recently made a surprise visit to a Rhode Island CVS to promote a new brand of candy but got a little surprise himself in this hilarious YouTube video.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has stared down plenty of NFL defenses en route to five Super Bowl appearances and three championships over the course of his illustrious 12-year career.

But could he stand up to the pressures of a staring contest against CVS customers?

Brady teamed up with to surprise a handful of customers in Woonsocket, R.I. last month to participate in a staring contest to help promote "Unreal," a new brand of healthy candy, according to NESN.com.

What's even better about this contest? It was published on YouTube by CVS and is yet another entertaining performance in front of the camera turned in by TB12.

In the video, the Patriots' star sits behind a curtain and waits to be revealed to customers sitting on the other side of the curtain. CVS customers were told they would compete in a staring contest but they did not know who it would be ... until the curtain fell.

Brady and the customer in the hot seat locked eyes and engaged in the contest. Brady tells the camera he was feeling the pressure.

"This is harder than I thought," Brady says. "Oh my God, this is like the Super Bowl of staring contests."

The reactions to seeing Brady revealed are amusing but it's what happens to Brady when he starts handing out candy outside of the pharmacy that makes this video an instant YouTube classic.

Woonsocket PD Gets in on Brady's CVS Promotion

Two Woonsocket Police officers appear towards the end of the CVS promotion video starring Brady to "arrest" the NFL quarterback.

The officers are Linden Karsner and Daniel Lajoie, said Woonsocket Police Det. Sgt. Matt Ryan.

"It was just a commercial. It was tongue in cheek," Ryan said of Brady's "arrest."

Ryan said the two officers happened to be on duty when the commercial producers asked if the Woonsocket Police would participate. He said they wanted a female officer to make the "arrest."
