Tastings Wine Bar & Bistro is Named One of the Top Restaurants for Foodies in the U.S.

Tastings Wine Bar & Bistro in Foxborough has been named a winner of OpenTable Diners’ Choice Awards for Top Wine Lists in the United States.

Tastings Wine Bar & Bistro, located at Patriot Place in Foxborough, has been named a winner of OpenTable Diners’ Choice Awards for Top Wine Lists in the United States.

The list of winners is derived from more than ten million reviews submitted by OpenTable diners for more than 12,000 restaurants in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

“We are thrilled and humbled by this acknowledgment from OpenTable diners,” said Mike Cicciarella, Tastings’ General Manager & Wine Director. “We are proud to know that these diners thoroughly enjoyed their overall experience at Tastings and gave us such high marks. We take great pride in putting together an eclectic list that includes over 250 selections, with over 70 wines available by the glass, making it very approachable for our guests. We also want to congratulate the one other restaurant in Massachusetts which was also part of the list, Left Bank at Stonehedge Inn & Spa in Tyngsboro, MA.”

"There are so many factors that influence the creation of a wine list that wows diners, from traditions and trends to economics and Mother Nature,” said Caroline Potter, OpenTable Chief Dining Officer. “We're so proud to be able to honor the winners and their commitment to building wine lists that excite and educate diners seeking the ultimate complement to their meal."

Based on feedback collected from OpenTable diners between October 2010 and
September 2011, the 50 award-winning restaurants received the highest scores.

To the owners of Tastings, congratulations for your awards and accolades. But let me tell you of the most horrid dining experience I have ever had at the hands of your GM Mike Cicciarella, who by the way threw his card at me so that I spelled his name correctly... in Foxboro, MA. This man was one of the most indignant, arrogant, self engulfed, and insulting man I have ever met. He yelled and argued and insulted infront of patrons of "your" restaurant. I have written my reviews on YELP. and will reiterate it if need be. This restaurant is horrendous. This poor man, Mike Cicciarella should not be near the public. He threw his card at me stating that he wanted me to get the spelling rights. I wrote it in his spelling numerous times now, and will continue to do so. You need to clean shop. I need to let my affiliates know. This place is to be avoided.! Please respond.
