Rockland Trust Invites Foxborough Community to Run in Falmouth Road Race

From June 15-22, community members can enter at any of Rockland Trust's 67 branches to win a race number to run in the 2012 New Balance Falmouth Road Race. Winners will receive a complementary race number and a Rockland Trust racing jersey.

Rockland Trust has announced it is offering the public the opportunity to win a race number to run in the 2012 New Balance Falmouth Road Race on Aug. 12. 

From June 15-22, community members can enter to win at any of .  Winners will receive a complementary race number and a Rockland Trust racing jersey.

Rockland Trust is the four-time official bank and presenting sponsor of the men’s and women’s wheelchair division of the race. In addition to offering race entries to community members, a team of Rockland Trust runners will participate in the road race, which each year draws an international field of Olympians, elite runners and recreational runners from across the country and world.

“The Falmouth Road Race is a great event that we enjoy being involved in every year,” said Ralph Valente, Rockland Trust’s Senior Vice President/Director of Marketing and Falmouth Road Race runner. “We are excited to offer our customers the chance to join our employee team and the elite runners in the 2012 race.”

This year, the New Balance Falmouth Road Race organization expects to have more than 12,000 runners and wheelchair athletes who will participate in the seven-mile course, which stretches from Woods Hole to the finish line in Falmouth Heights. The event is expected to draw more than 75,000 spectators.
