New Foxboro Cable Access Show Focuses on Casino Issues

The casiKNOW is now running on Foxboro Cable Access Television.

(A press release from casiKNOW.)

A new bi-weekly television series, casiKNOW, debuted its first episode on Foxboro Cable Access Television (FCATV) on Wednesday, March 21. The show is hosted by local Foxboro resident Traci Longa and features a talk show format with different guests appearing each week.

Inspired by her experiences moderating the Foxboro Casino discussion group on Facebook, Longa will broadcast the wealth of casino-related information that has been shared online to Foxboro residents who do not have access to, or use, Facebook.

Longa presented her idea to FCATV, who then graciously provided CasiKNOW volunteers with access to their studios and equipment, as well as training on the equipment; their own set of volunteer crew; and multiple, weekly time slots for the show.

casiKNOW has produced three episodes which have aired:

Episode 1 -  “Wynn Resorts” with Kim Sinatra, General Councel, Wynn Resorts Ltd.

Episode 2 -  “Foxboro Town Politics” with Bill Gouveia, Columnist, Sun Chronicle

Episode 3 –  “Town Strategies” with Marc Todd, local resident and businessman

Episode 4 -  “Behind the Scenes Tour Wynn/Encore” an eye-opening video of various departments in Wynn Resorts, Las Vegas, will be have its first airing, Wednesday, May 2, at 9:30 p.m.

All shows are rebroadcast throughout the week on FCATV, Comcast channel 8 and Verizon channel 39.  Ongoing schedule can be found at  http://www.fcatv.org/schedule/the-public-channel-839

Individual episodes can also be accessed online through the FCATV website on their “video gallery” page ( http://video.fcatv.org/ ) and will also be posted on the website www.foxborocasiknow.com and the “Foxboro Casino Discussion” Facebook page.

Each episode runs roughly between 25 and 45 minutes, commercial-free.
