The Foxborough Housing Authority is seeking an experienced well qualified high performance full time Executive Director with vision and problem solving skills. The director is responsible for the administration of 104 units of (Chapter 667) elderly/disabled housing, 41 units of (Chapter 705) family housing, 16 (689) special needs housing, 1 (MRVP) State voucher, 2 Section 8 Federal vouchers and 20 Section 8 project-based vouchers. 

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree, at least four years experience in housing, community development, public administration as well as knowledge of the principles and practices of housing management, finances and maintenance systems in public and private housing and two or more years of experience overseeing at least three staff persons or administration.

Knowledge of laws regulating State and Federal housing programs required. Computer, written and verbal communication skills required. Must be bondable. Certification as a Public Housing Manager from a HUD approved organization is desired and may be substituted by a certification as a property manager or similar classification by a nationally recognized housing or real estate organization or by certification as a MPHA of a DHCD approved Massachusetts Public Housing Administrator Certification Program.

Store Manager at GNC

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the operations, staffing, and sales/profit goals in a single assigned retail store
  • Ensure total compliance with all store operations policies
  • Sell merchandise to customers by following GNC's prescribed selling methods
  • Manage the store's inventory with GNC guidelines.  Receive, check, and shelve all merchandise orders
  • Responsible for keeping store clean and uncluttered

Job Specifications:

Required:

 Senior Project Manage at Axeda

 Major Responsibilities/Duties:

  • The Senior Project Manager is responsible for risk, budget, and customer satisfaction of their projects.
  • Manage all activities around professional services engagements, including:  facilitating scoping sessions, developing and documenting functional specifications, leading project teams, managing customer expectations, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Able to understand, explain, and guide customers toward the appropriate Axeda technical solutions in line with Axeda best practices.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within budget and schedule outlined in the project Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Supervise consultants on implementation projects and supervise project managers in the delivery of other projects or subprojects for assigned customers
  • Conduct the business analysis required to document project use cases and requirements specifications.
  • Develop new project opportunities within assigned accounts to extend solution reach and value proposition.
  • Develop technical expertise in Axeda’s applications/products and Implementation Methodologies.
  • Provide limited end-user training and product demonstrations.
  • Deliver and review the completed solution to the customer.
  • Manage and prioritize demands of multiple concurrent projects of varying scope.
  • Act as a mentor/leader within the PM group

 
Technical/Professional Knowledge/Skills:

  • Excellent organization, time management and communication skills.
  • Expert project management skills including project planning, staffing, risk mitigation, and budget control.
  • Ability to work independently as well as to collaborate cross-functionally to get results.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and manage expectations of a wide range of people including the Sales team, Customers/Partners, and all internal stakeholders.
  • Strong technical acumen and aptitude with understanding of n-tier enterprise web application technologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects of varying scope.
  • Ability to manage complex software-focused technical engagements
  • Demonstrated passion for customer service; ensure the customer can serve as a reference once the client is in production.

 
Experience:

  • Eight plus years of project management experience in a similar technical, software consulting role working with external customers.
  • A strong technical background and experience with enterprise software solutions (SaaS and/or PaaS is a plus).
  • Background in M2M services, Remote Service Management, Asset Management, is a plus.

 
Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in related field.

 

Bag Machine Operator at the Alpha Group

A manufacturing company located in Foxboro is looking to hire a Bag Machine Operator for 2nd Shift.  Machine Operator is responsible for picking and packing parts according to customer requirements, label cases and other duties as assigned.  This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to become part of this successful organization and contribute to their further growth. 

This position is full time, temporary to permanent and pays $13 - $15/hour.

Working 2nd Shift, Monday through Friday 3:15pm - 10:45PM

Responsibilities:
- Examine completed work to detect levels and quality for production parts
- Put together boxes
- Pick parts and pack according to customer requirements
- Remove and weigh scrap
- Properly label cases
- Maintain and install attachments to machines for gluing, folding, printing and ink levels
- Preventative maintenance as necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Other duties as assigned

We need care for our two boys, 5 and almost 3 years old, after kindergarten (to be there for pick up at the bus stop) and to pick up our youngest child from pre-school/daycare. Starting in September at the start of school.
