Job Description:

  • Welcome and acknowledge each and every guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guest's name when possible. 
  • Anticipate guests' service needs, including asking questions of guests to better understand their needs and listening to guest preferences and acting on them whenever possible. 
  • Speak to guests and co-workers using clear, appropriate and professional language. 
  • Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette including answering the phone within 3 rings, answering with a smile in one's voice, using the callers' name, transferring calls to appropriate person/department, requesting permission before placing the caller on hold, taking and relaying messages, and allowing the caller to end the call. 
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation and provide a caring farewell. 
  • Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and activating room key 
  • Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit. 
  • Process all check-outs including resolving any late disputed charges. 
  • Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns. 
  • Follow up with guests to ensure their requests or problems have been met to their satisfaction. 
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in and to report guest concerns. 
  • Communicate parking procedures to guest and dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed. 
  • Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest. 
  • Run daily reports, identify any special requests and check reports for accuracy. 
  • Assign rooms according to guest request and preferences whenever possible 
  • Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system. 
  • Complete shift's checklist. 
  • Balance and drop receipts according to accounting specifications.

  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.

The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands and associates may be asked to work shifts other than those they prefer or normally work. Associates are required to comply with Colwen Management Inc uniform and appearance standards. Tax and Accounting Manager at the Kraft Group

Position Summary: 

The Tax & Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing tax and accounting functions for the organizations business and investment partnerships.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Manage tax compliance function for business and investment partnerships and S Corporations including: calculation and filing of quarterly estimates; preparation and review of tax returns work papers and federal and state income tax returns and management of tax audits and notices
  • Manage financial accounting and performance reporting for investment partnerships including: review of performance calculations; review of monthly/quarterly financial statements; ensure proper allocation of income to partners; review and analyze 3rd party financials received
  • Develop enhanced performance reporting tools for the investment partnerships
  • Prepare and maintain tax book accounting records including tax basis balance sheets and capital accounts
  • Prepare tax projections for current year and three to five year projections
  • Monitor and analyze current and proposed federal and state tax legislation for impacts and opportunities for the organization
  • Manage implementation of new tax legislation on business and investment entities
  • Key participant in various tax consulting projects.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Bachelors of Accounting required with a Masters in Taxation preferred
  • 8+ years of accounting and tax experience
  • Partnership accounting with alternative investment type experience required
  • Partnership tax compliance experience required, preferably with a mix of investment & operating partnerships
  • Advanced excel proficiency required
  • Strong communication, analytical thinking and multitasking with and ability to work autonomously as well as with a team

  • Senior tax and investment accounting staff
  • Staff accountant (partial supervision)

Objective:

The Technical Recruiter is responsible developing and establishing an effective attraction and recruitment strategy, plan and marketing campaign for the clients to meet the business placement objectives by sourcing, assessing and negotiating offers. The Recruiter identifies business needs from a resourcing perspective through working closely with clients, finding and attracting the right candidates, developing relationships with the clients, and then offering and delivering an opportunity which satisfies the needs of all parties. Qualifications

  • Education, Certifications, and Work Experience Required:
  • BS or BA or equivalent work experience
  • 5 - 8+ years of recruitment experience in an engineering or highly technical environment
  • Other HR experience desirable and strong business acumen, problem solving and analytical skills highly preferred
  • Well versed in high-volume recruitment process, working effectively with internal clients and external vendors as well as talent pool development.
