Jake N’ Joes Eyes November Opening in Foxborough

Representatives from Jake N' Joes will meet with Foxborough's Board of Selectmen Tuesday to discuss the all alcohol restaurant liquor license transfer from Piccadilly Pub at 25 Foxborough Blvd.

Jake N’ Joes Sports Grille could be opening in Foxborough at the former site of by the end of November if the necessary licenses are approved by the town.

Grand Slam Restaurant Concepts Foxborough LLC DBA Jake N’ Joes agreed to buy the Piccadilly Pub property on July 25 after the , according to the company’s application to the town. Grand Slam Restaurant Concepts Foxborough LLC, which is also associated with The Chateau restaurant chain, is interested in bringing Jake N' Joes to 25 Foxborough Blvd.

Representatives from Grand Slam Restaurant Concepts Foxborough LLC will meet with the Foxborough Board of Selectmen Tuesday for a public hearing to transfer the all alcohol restaurant liquor license from Piccadilly Pub to Jake N’ Joes.

If all licenses are approved by the town and the ABCC, Grand Slam Restaurant Concepts Foxborough LLC will begin renovating the space formerly occupied by Piccadilly Pub with the target date of opening Jake N’ Joes on Nov. 21, according to the company’s application to the town.

The current single-story brick building has a restaurant bar, kitchen and restrooms. The restaurant contains 152 seats and the bar contains 48 seats.

“The proposed transferee (Grand Slam Restaurant Concepts Foxborough LLC) intends to remodel and upgrade the facility, including mechanical systems and kitchen equipment,” the application said. “It will also renovate the seating and bathroom areas and facilities. Additionally, exterior seating alongside the building in the existing parking area is proposed.”

Jake N’ Joes' proposed layout of the restaurant will feature two dining rooms and one bar. The bar will seat 28 while dining room one will seat 80 patrons and dining room two will seat 92, according to the company’s proposed floor plan.

The square footage of the restaurant space, currently at 7,800, is expected to remain unchanged as a result of the renovations, according to the application.

Grand Slam Restaurant Concepts Foxborough LLC filed for the liquor license transfer with the town on Aug. 7. In addition, the Board of Selectmen is expected to review Jake N’ Joes' application for Common Victuallers license and acknowledge the notification of the hearing to be held by the ABCC on Aug. 30 regarding the Piccadilly Pub.

Jake N’ Joes Sports Grille, according to its , is “a contemporary American restaurant and bar that features a wide variety of dining options for lunch and dinner, including appetizers such as nachos, wings, quesadillas, tacos, spring rolls, bread sticks and sliders, salads, soups, specialty and create-your-own burgers, steak tips, ribs, fajitas and more. Jake N' Joes Sports Grille additionally serves draft beer, red and white wines and cocktails, and provides DJ and live entertainment.”
