Health Inspection: CVS, Bar Louie, Ninety Nine, and More

Sept. 25

Bar Louie

All violations found during an inspection on Sept. 18 were found to be corrected.

Pizza Time

While no critical violations were found, the following notes were made:

  • Personal belongings on slivers upon arrival, keep segregated. Has been corrected.
  • Back door open upon arrival, keep closed at all times. Has been corrected.
  • Minor dust accumulation on fan in walk-in.
  • Waste oil drum not securely covered, replace/secure.
  • Large amount of trash debris on ground near outside trash receptacle.
  • Water in bathroom at 75 degrees, not required 110 degrees, repair.
  • Men’s room sink, toilet, walls have grime accumulation, clean.
  • Women’s room sink wall accumulation of soap residue, clean regularly.
  • Minor dust accumulation over prep area (near oven) and on hood area.

South Street Pizzeria

One critical violations was found and has been corrected. A slicer had reminisces of dried food debris on it. The slicer was rewashed at inspection. No slicing was performed on the day of the inspection.

The following notes were also made: 

  • Flooring (laminate) in walk-in freezer coming undone, curling, causing excess food particles and debris to collect. Not clean to sight.
  • Pizza coolers on the high side. Just prepped food for lunch, turned dial down, monitor closely.
  • Thermometer in sandwich coolers in disrepair, replaced at inspection.
  • Men’s room floor/sink not clean to site. Dirt/grime visible.
  • Chemical spray bottle on shelf with ounce cups, keep segregated. Has been corrected.
  • Bag of onions on floor, corrected at inspection. 
  • Sanitizers bucket not labeled. Has been corrected.
  • Shelving unity holding food equipment, paint off, rust showing. Plans on getting a new one.

Subway on Central Street

One critical violations was found and has been corrected. Tomato slicers exhibited leftover food particles and were re-cleaned at inspection.

The following noted were also made:

  • Incorrect air drying of food containers after sanitizing, employees nesting containers. Discussed, air dried after discussion. Has been corrected.
  • Personal belongings with cups under counter of soda machine, moved at inspection.
  • Fly swatters with food holder boats. Relocated (stated it has not been used.)
  • Allergy stickers need for take out menus


CVS Pharmacy

While no critical violations were found, the following notes were made:

  • Walk-in cooler floor not clean to sight, clean more frequently.

Dunkin’ Donuts at Patriot Place

While no critical violations were found, the following notes were made:

  • Spoons for yogurt with lip contact up, rotate handle up.
  • Toilet seat in women’s room loose, tighten.
  • No covered wastebasket in women’s room, provide.

Sept. 28

Ninety Nine Restaurant

Two critical violations were found and have been corrected. Slicer blades were not clean to sight with leftover food debris on blades. The blades were cleaned at the inspection. A garlic and oil mixture sitting out at room temperature was also found and discarded. A new batch was put on ice at the inspection.

The following notes were also made: 

  • Cooler doors on cold and low bay in disrepair. Plastic missing, exposing foam material possible physical hazard.
  • Some food in cooler not covered, keep covered. Covering performed at inspection.
  • In cream not covered, covered at inspection.
  • Ice cream freezer has ice build up in unit, defrost and cleaning needed.
  • Minor cleaning on right side of metal lip in ice machine.
  • Keep thermometers on all coolers visible.
  • Minor mold build-up on fans in walk-in.
  • Relocate beer draining tubing out of hand-wash sink.
  • Women’s room toilet bowl (right) is loose

Papa Gino’s

While no critical violations were found, the following notes were made:

  • Sandwich cooler running high, monitor closely, inspection done right after lunch.
  • Cover to salt containers on shelving not clean to site, non-salt food debris on covers.
  • Shelving (dry good area) not clean to sight. Specially bottom shelf, contains dust accumulation.
  • Date gun on wooden pizza paddle, sanitized during inspection.

Sept. 26

Foxboro Food Pantry

While no critical violations were found, the following notes were made:

  • Thermometer needed in refrigerator in back (near AC).
