Cupcake Charlie’s Coming to Foxborough in 2013

Less than two weeks after an award-winning sandwich shop opened at Patriot Place's North Marketplace the Foxborough shopping, dining and entertainment complex has announced plans to add an award-winning cupcake bakery in 2013.

Cupcake Charlie's, an award-winning gourmet cupcake bakery, offers sweet treats in an inviting and fun atmosphere. While details of the opening date are still being finalized, Patriot Place expects the bakery to open in the North Marketplace some time in 2013.

The Foxborough location will be Cupcake Charlie's fourth. The franchise also does business at The Mashpee Commons on Cape Cod, the Plymouth Waterfront in Plymouth and the Brick Market Place down in Newport, R.I. The bakery has appeared on an episode of the Food Network's Cupcake Wars, has won "Best Signature Cupcake of Rhode Island" and has been voted "Best Bakery" numerous times.

Cupcake Charlie's takes pride in their homemade, hand decorated cupcakes. The bakery produces 16 daily menu flavors and offers a different "Flavor of the Day" chosen from over 130 recipes.

Cupcake fans love their Hostess with the Mostess, a homemade take on the classic sweet treat. It is a rich chocolate cake filled with cream filling and dipped in chocolate ganache. Other favorites include the Lemon Drop, Rockin' Red Velvet, Peanut Butter Pleasure and Chocolate Raspberry Surprise.
