CrossFit Torque in Foxborough is currently constructing its new 4,000 square foot building on Route 1 next door to Chace Building Supply and co-owner Amanda Chace says it couldn’t be going better.

“It’s going really great,” she said. “It’s going up a lot quicker than I expected.”

Crossfit Torque originally opened in Foxborough in 2010, and Chace said she and her brother/co-owner Rich have been renting the building adjacent to the new construction site since then.

“It’s the next step and it’s a dream come true,” she said. “We plan on finishing on the second week of July.”

Chace said they are also planning on holding a grand opening for the new building in August or September.

She said the current building they rent was great when they opened, but the growing pains of the business are starting to show.

“We designed the building specifically for CrossFit, and I think what we’re excited about is being able to reach more of the Foxboorugh community,” she said. “Right now we’re in a very small space and what we can offer is very limited in terms of class sizes. With the new space the sky is now the limit. I think we’ll be able to get a lot more people from the community involved and ultimately that’s the goal.”

Since opening the first CrossFit Torque in Foxborough opened in December 2010, owners Amanda and Richard Chace have been working out and alongside their parents Nancy and Don and sister Christine.

The original family-owned business housed in an 800 square-foot facility has been serving local residents from all over Massachusetts and Rhode Island. CrossFit offers personal training sessions and small group classes for up to eight members.

Free introductory classes are available Saturday mornings at 8 a.m. and members can participate in exercise and strength instruction. The company specializes in cardio training, endurance, fitness assessment, flexibility, strength training and weight loss.

Hours for group classes can be found on http://crossfittorque.wordpress.com/schedule/. Private sessions are available by appointment.
