Cindi's Jewelry: Making Memories and Jewelry for over 20 Years in Foxborough

Foxborough resident Cindi Haddad-Drew has been designing jewelry in town for over 20 years.

Cindi Haddad-Drew has been in the jewelry business for over 20 years and the one thing she learned about it was the importance of staying power.

“Part of what I’m doing is I’m creating pieces that people are going to hand down,” she said. “Significant pieces that when someone receives them they’re going to remember.”

Haddad-Drew, a Foxborough resident since before she can remember, is the owner and operator of Cindi's Diamond and Jewelry Gallery.

She said she started in the business in 1989 at the Manufacturers Jewelry Outlet in North Attleboro. Three years later she opened up shop in Foxborough, and since then she’s been making and designing pieces for people to cherish and remember.

“A lot of things we put together here,” she said.

One of her favorite things put together at her Central Street shop are Mother's Day bracelets.

“They signify each child’s birthdates and have each child’s birthstones,” she said. “Mothers love that kind of thing.”

The shop carries engagement rings, precious stone jewelry of all kinds and designer watches. The shop also does repairs and jewelry maintenance.

Haddad-Drew said that each piece she designs or buys from vendors is picked by her and represents the same quality standards, mainly because each piece, no matter the price, is special.

“For some people any piece of jewelry is significant no matter the cost,” she said. "It’s important to the person who owns it. ... It’s not something people buy every day; it’s not a need … Somebody that’s buying something or having something made puts a lot of thought into it.”

Cindi's Diamond & Jewelry Gallery is open Tuesday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The gallery is closed Sunday and Monday.
