Bacardi Punts on Foxborough Bar; Patriots Sue

The team and the rum maker had a deal for a 20,000-square-foot pavilion called "Casa Bacardi," but Bacardi reportedly backed out at the last minute.

The New England Patriots filed a lawsuit against Bacardi after the team said the rum maker punted on plans for a bar and restaurant at Patriot Place.

The Boston Globe reported the team and the rum maker had a deal for a 20,000-square-foot pavilion called "Casa Bacardi," but Bacardi backed out at the last minute.

The Patriots claim Bacardi engaged in "bad-faith" negotiating, while Bacardi said it disagrees with the lawsuit, according to the Globe.
