While thousands will head to Boston Monday to celebrate First Night 2013, many will opt to stay closer to home to ring in the New Year.
In Foxboro, there's no shortage of New Year's Eve celebrations with multiple events happening at Patriot Place and many more throughout the area. To help celebrate the end of 2013 and beginning of 2014, we've compiled a list of several New Year's Eve events happening around Foxboro. NOTE: Some events may sell out — call in advance.

- CBS Scene - Join Little Blue Pill for live music on New Year's Eve starting at 9 p.m. on Dec. 31. Enjoy a special menu available for the evening. There will be a $10 cover for those not reserving the New Year's Eve menu. Click here for more details or to make a reservation.
- Bar Louie - Celebrate the new year with style. For $10, you will get live entertainment and a champagne toast. For more information, call Bar Louie or stop by their Patriot Place location.
- Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill - Foxboro's favorite country bar is preparing for a big new year's celebration. A $10 cover charge includes live music from Greg Burroughs, a free champagne toast at midnight, party favors, and a chance at a raffle drawing for a chance to win cool prizes. Click here for details.
- Tasting's Wine Bar & Bistro - The celebration will include a special menu, beers from Peak Organic Brewing, wine from Jorge Ordoñez Selections, champagne from Veuve Clicquot, and the popular Martini Ice Luge. The price for the evening is $125 per person. Click here for more details.

The Orpheum - New Year's Eve Comedy Night at the Orpheum is back with Steve Sweeney, a Boston comedy legend along with James Creelman, Carolyn Plummer and Greg Boggs.
