Foxborough High Students Win Scholastic Art Awards ‎

FHS students were awarded seventeen individual art awards at this year's Scholastic Art Awards contest.

Foxborough High School art students were on hand at the school committee meeting, March 21, to be congratulated on their art achievements.

Foxborough art students were awarded a total of seventeen individual art awards at this year’s Scholastic Art Awards contest sponsored statewide by the Boston Globe.

Foxborough Patch would like to congratulate the following students on their achievements: Sarah Andres- Honorable Mention award (Sculpture), Liz Delaney- Gold Key award (Computer Design), Maddie Fletcher- Silver Key award (Drawing), Jillian Harrison- Honorable Mention award (Computer Design), Dylan Heinricher- Honorable Mention award (Computer Design), Catherine Hughes- Honorable Mention award (Computer Design), Jake Littlefield- Silver Key award (Sculpture), Nick Marves- Silver Key award (Computer Design), Cassidy Maziarz- Gold Key award (Drawing), Sam Motta- Silver Key award (Computer Design), Joseph Mulherin- Silver Key award (Film and Animation), Jessica Septelka- Silver Key award (Computer Art), Evan Serpis- Honorable Mention award (Computer Design), Victoria Solomon- Honorable Mention award (Computer Design), Kathryn Spillane- Gold Key award (Computer Art), and Juliette Weiss- 2 awards, Silver Key award (Painting) and Honorable Mention award (Photography).

All Gold and Silver Key Award Winning works are currently on exhibit at the State Transportation Building, John Hancock Hall, Boston until Friday, April 8, 2011.

The Gold Key award winning works will go on to New York City in the spring to compete on the national level.
