An Evening of Music and Art at the Foxborough Orpheum Theatre

An "Evening of Art & Music" will take place on Saturday, Nov. 12 at the Orpheum Theatre in Foxborough.

For one night only on Saturday, Nov. 12, the area’s best artists and musicians will gather at the Foxborough's Orpheum Theatre for an evening of Art & Music. The artists from The Preservation Framer along with three talented, up & coming musical acts will host the evening including Annie & the Beekeepers, Paul Cataldo and The Ghillies.

Art will be featured from successful artists such as Shelly Eager, Karole Nicholson, Colleen Vandeventer, Christina Beecher, Carol Wontkowski, Abby Rovaldi, Donna MacLure and James Ouellette. Paul Bloom will be accompanying the Artist Reception playing piano.

Annie & The Beekeepers will kick off the music event at 8:00pm and have shared stages with such admirable musicians as Josh Ritter, Justin Townes Earle and The Low Anthem. Annie has performed at notable festivals such as SXSW, Philadelphia Folk Festival, Bristol Rhythm and Roots Reunion, and Boston Folk Festival.  Annie has toured throughout the United States, as well as the UK.  With a musical style reminiscent of Jenny Lewis or Jolie Holland, Annie’s music is truly unique.

Paul Cataldo, a Foxboro native, has extensively toured the South and Northwest of The U.S., and recently completed a short tour of the UK.  He has also recorded a CD in Nashville, entitled “Rivers, Roads & Mountains”.

The GHILLIES created their band to offer something truly unique to all music fans.  Whether you grew up listening to Johnny Cash & Willie Nelson, or Led Zeppelin & Aerosmith, the GHILLIES will bring back sweet memories while entertaining you!  Winners of the Cardi’s Furniture 2011 “Big Break” Music Contest, the GHILLIES are a musical tour de force, and have done incredibly well in attracting a whole new generation of Country Music Fans.

Tickets are available on-line at BrownPaperTickets.com/event/174884, at the Preservation, at the Foxboro Orpheum or at the door the night of the event.  Tickets are $10 each, 12 and younger are free, there will be a cash bar with beer, wine and snacks.
