5 Things You Need to Know About Saturday's Bruce Springsteen and E Street Band Concert

Foxborough expects a sellout crowd for Bruce Springsteen's first performance in Gillette Stadium since 2008. Saturday's concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are set to make their first trip to Foxborough since 2008 for Saturday's "Wrecking Ball Tour." The show begins at 7:30 p.m. inside Gillette Stadium.

Here are five things you need to know about the concert:

1. Parking Information and Entry to Event

Parking lots are scheduled to open to general parking at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.

General parking fees are as follows:

  • $40 for cars
  • $125 Limos
  • $125 RV's and oversized vans/cars
  • $200 busses

Prepaid parking passes may park in the designated club and suite parking lots without incurring a fee. In addition, guest with parking passes may use their parking pass in the general parking lots with incurring a fee (cars only). Prepaid parking passes may be used toward a credit for a Limo, RV or bus. Each parking pass provides a credit of $40 and multiple passes may be used. Multiple passes totaling more than the applicable parking fee will not result in a refund.

Most stadium parking lots will accept credit cards (no debit cards), however, to save processing time it is requested that cash is used to pay the applicable parking fee.

If you are attending and the concert you must pay the general parking fee. If you arrive prior to the general parking lot opening time (3:30 p.m.) and you wish to visit Patriot Place, you may enter either the P9 or the P6 entrance off of Rte. 1 and the parking attendants will assist you in providing parking.

Patrons of Patriot Place who are not attending the show will be provided ample parking as designated on the concert map (see PDF above), however, it is asked that you please follow the Patriot Place Parking Rules and Regulations regarding time limits on free parking. 2. Expect a Sellout Crowd and Traffic Impact

A sellout crowd of 50,000 to 55,000 fans are expected in Foxborough Saturday to see Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Officials advise those travelling through the area to plan ahead and expect traffic delays similar to New England Patriots games.

3. The Dos and Don’ts at Gillette Stadium During Concerts

Note the following will not be allowed in Gillette Stadium Parking Lots:

  1. Any vehicle towing a trailer (this includes fifth-wheel RV units).
  2. Professional catering trucks and or services without prior written approval from Stadium Management.
  3. Excessive tailgate setups that impede on customers parked around your vehicles, emergency access or deemed to be unsafe or inappropriate by Stadium Management.
  4. Any type of swimming pool, portable pool, hot tubs, water filled pickup trucks, or the like.
  5. Branded vehicles that Stadium Management determines to be advertizing to the general public.

The Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band tour requests no cameras of any kind, which includes both video and still cameras.

4. The Boss Returns to Foxborough for First Time Since 2008

Saturday’s show will be Bruce Springsteen’s first performance in Foxborough at Gillette Stadium since 2008. Prior to that tour, Springsteen visited town in 2003.
