Wampanoag Road Runners: Old-Fashioned Ten Miler
Review and results for the Old-Fashioned Ten Miler and 5k.
The Wampanoag Road Runners presented the "Old Fashioned Ten Miler and Flat 5k" on Sunday, February 20.
The race kicked off at 11:00 a.m at the Invensys company on Neponset Street.
The temperature outside was a bitter 25 degrees accompanied by a cold gusty wind. But, by the look of the excitement surrounding the start line, the weather did not dampen the mood of these runners.

Over 450 runners participated in the ten mile race. Scoot Bessette of Mystic, CT came in first with a time of 0:53:06.
256 runners completed the 5k. Kenny Rayner of Acton, MA placed first with a time of 17:00 minutes.
