Tina Stone Rocks at the Annual Teddy Bear Picnic

The annual Teddy Bear Picnic was held July 21 at the Foxborough Common.

On July 21, Boyden Library hosted it's annual Teddy Bear Picnic, sponsored by the Friends of Boyden Library. Tina Stone, with the help of senior John Kinney, had children dancing and playing along.

Tina Stone is a singer, songwriter and storyteller with just the right spunk and pizazz to get children into each and every show she performs. Due to a hurt shoulder, Tina was unable to play the guitar, so John Kinney played along behind her. He even followed along with hand motions and dancing. He was a trooper!

The picnic included a special guest visit from Smokey the Bear, a children's parade around the common, and a whole lot of dancing and teddy bear cuddles.

Families were invited to bring a new children's book for the Foxborough Discretionary Fund, which also had a wonderful turn out.

The Teddy Bear Picnic helped a great cause, put on a wonderful show and  was fun for all. Tina Stone never ceases to amaze Foxborough families with her energy and talent, and John Kinney was the perfect addition to the annual celebration.
