Third Annual Cow Flop at Foxborough's Founders Day

Purchase your deed today for a chance to win $2,500.

In approximately 17 days, the community of Foxborough will gather to celebrate Founders Day. This year's Founders Day theme is "Salute the Troops."

Founders Day is not only a wonderful community event, it is an opportunity to support the organizations and groups that help to shape Foxborough into the spirited community it's known as.

This year, the PTOs from Foxborough’s three elementary schools are partnering to host the BIT 3rd Annual Cow Flop fundraiser at this year’s Founders Day. It is the second largest fundraiser for the 3 elementary school PTOs, after the BIT auction.

On Founder’s Day, part of the field will be divided into individual 2’ x 2’ deeded squares.  Deeds will be sold at $10.00 per square.  At a pre-determined time Bessy the Cow, from Foxborough’s own Oake Knoll Ayrshires at Lawton’s Family Farm will be lead onto the deeded field as an anxious crowd awaits her first “flop” (aka “poop”).  The first plot Bessy fertilizes will win $2500, the second $1000, the third $500.  All the money we receive from this fundraiser will benefit the Burrell, Igo and Taylor PTOs for projects including playground improvements and school projects.

This year's Cow Flop will feature three local celebrity judges. New Superintendent Deb Spinelli, newly elected Selectman Mark Sullivan (second year as a judge and Taylor Dad) and Selectman Jim DeVellis (second year as a judge and an Igo Dad) will judge where the poop falls and who wins.
