Patriots Join NFL Pledge to Donate $1M to Aid Hurricane Sandy Relief Efforts

New England Patriots have joined an NFL and NFLPA pledge that will donate to the American Red Cross to aid those impacted by Hurricane Sandy. Donations to the American Red Cross can be made through Patriots.com.

The New England Patriots have joined a league-wide NFL and NFLPA initiative to pledge $1 million to the American Red Cross to aid in Hurricane Sandy relief efforts in the northeast.
 
The Patriots will feature a designated area for fans to make donations to the American Red Cross on Patriots.com. Fans are also encouraged to make a $10 donation through the text-to-give line by texting REDCROSS to 90999. In addition to the website, the Patriots will also provide links to make donations to the American Red Cross via the Patriots Facebook and Twitter accounts.
 
Additionally, the Patriots will include Hurricane Sandy relief announcements for  the American Red Cross at their next game on Nov. 11 against the Buffalo Bills at Gillette Stadium.
