Patriot Place Collecting Donations for Hurricane Sandy Victims Sunday

Collection will be held in the parking lot of Bass Pro Shops at Patriot Place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.

A massive collection of relief aid for Hurricane Sandy victims has been initiated under the acronym Z.A.C.– Zamily Action Committee – under the direction of Zamily members (ZBB fan club members) and backed by the Zac Brown Band (ZBB) and band management.

On Sunday, Dec. 2, in the parking lot of Bass Pro Shops at Patriot Place in Foxborough, a collection will be taking place for much needed items for the communities of Breezy Point and Rockaway Point, N.Y. The collection will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. These collections are in conjunction with a major effort stemming from the midwest and headed to New York and New Jersey with multiple stops along the way.

Details about the effort can be found on www.Zamily.org. The top 40 MOST NEEDED items can be found on www.dropbox.com under Sandy Top 40.pdf.

The collections are open to the public, so anyone who would like to donate items can do so outside of Bass Pro Shops Sunday. If you are unable to make a collection time but would still like to donate, a monetary donation can be made on PayPal.com to the recipient address of robhardware@aol.com. Rob and his wife Jodi are Connecticut residents and local Zamily members who own Goody’s Hardware Store in East Haven, Conn. They have offered to buy items at cost so more can be put towards the cause. Please consider donating through PayPal if you cannot make it to a collection site.
