How2Heroes Hoedown Features Inspired Local Food
Ben Lacy of Foxborough's Tastings Wine Bar & Bistro participates in the annual How2Heroes Hoedown Sunday.
How2Heroes, a how-to cooking site featuring original instructional videos that celebrates food and the heroes behind the how-tos, hosted their third annual How2Heroes Hoedown at Verrill Farm in Concord on Oct. 2.
The event featured a pig roast and tasty hoedown-inspired food from local chefs including Ben Lacy of Foxborough's Tastings Wine Bar & Bistro, Steve Butters of Butter Cafe & Bakery, Brian Poe of Poe's Kitchen at the Rattlesnake and Erwin Ramos of Ole Restaurant Group.
A portion of the proceeds benefited the Mass Farmers Markets.
