Foxborough Featured on 'Where We Live'

A close-up report on the town of Foxborough.

The town of Foxborough was featured today, March 28, on a new radio and television series, entitled "Where We Live," which examines and reports on the impact the economy has had on various Massachusetts towns.

According the WGBH, Foxborough is the only small town in the United State to host an NFL franchise valued at $1.2 billion. Foxborough has become dependent on funding from the Patriots for capital improvements and other expenditures.

Today's report will examine how a potential NFL strike would impact the town’s budget and jobs. It will also report on the future of Patriot Place, which was first developed at the start of the recession.
