Foxborough's 99 Restaurant Helps Feed Over 400 Homeless Men and Women in Boston

Local restaurant employees prepared and served meals to more than 400 homeless men and women at the Pine Street Inn in Boston.

BOSTON - Employees from The Ninety Nine Restaurant in Foxborough reached out to those in need in February by preparing and serving dinner to more than 400 homeless men and women at Pine Street Inn in Boston.

The Ninety Nine Restaurants have supported Pine Street Inn’s efforts to end homelessness for more 30 years.

Volunteers from Ninety Nine Restaurants locations throughout Massachusetts visit Pine Street Inn each month to prepare dinner and dessert for guests at the Men’s and Women’s Inns.

The Ninety Nine’s generosity was also instrumental in launching Pine Street’s food services job training program, which provides homeless men and women with the skills and experience to find employment in the food industry. Upon completion of the program, it is not uncommon for the trainees to be given employment opportunities at Ninety Nine Restaurant locations.

With a mission to end homelessness, Pine Street provides permanent housing, job training, emergency shelter and street outreach to more than 11,000 individuals annually. The Ninety Nine Restaurants are among the more than 4,000 volunteers each year who help Pine Street provide these crucial services to homeless men and women.
